At The Dog's Meow, we know there are lots of dog lovers in the Draper and Millcreek neighborhoods who like to include their pet in their social lives and everyday activities. Sometimes you just want to relax over a good meal with a friend and you want to include your dog, especially now that the weather is nicer. We also know how hard it can be to find dog-friendly patios at our local restaurants. That’s why we took the time to “dig” around and come up with these fun and dog-friendly restaurants for you and your pup to enjoy!
Zest Kitchen & Bar
Located downtown, Zest Kitchen & Bar offers healthy plant-based, gluten-free fare, along with simply delicious cocktails. And, of course, Zest Kitchen & Bar has a comfortable dog-friendly patio where you can sit with your best friend and enjoy incredible organic (as much as possible) options. Check out their yummy day-time menu and treat yourself and your favorite furry friend to lunch in the sun!

Cotton Bottom Inn
Featuring locally famous garlic burgers, the Cotton Bottom is a Utah staple that is located near the Cottonwood Trail. So take your dog on a walk and then enjoy a burger and fries or a salad on the shady patio.

Log Haven
Located about 5 miles up Millcreek Canyon, Log Haven is a historic cabin-turned-restaurant in the Wasatch National Forest. Log Haven is known for their consistency in offering excellent atmosphere and cuisine. Passionate about sustainability and conservation, Log Haven partners with local and regional purveyors to bring you interesting choices and quality meals. Log Haven loves dogs! During their annual “Dog Days of Summer” you can reserve a spot at their Hillside Amphitheater for your party and your dog. On odd-numbered days (when the canyon allows dogs off-leash on trails), consider an off leash hike with your dog before relaxing in this scenic venue.

Feldman’s Deli
Why not take your dog on a walk in Tanner Park and then stop by this authentic Jewish deli for a bagel and some schmear or a deli sandwich favorite?

The Brickyard Bar
Formerly known as “Lumpy’s”, The Brickyard Bar serves brunch Sundays from 11am to 3pm. Their small dog friendly patio is shaded, heated, and fully enclosed. You can expect classic pub breakfast, including their smothered breakfast fries. Take advantage of $3.25 mimosas and $4.50 bloody marys!

The Garage Grill
The Garage Grill is a super fun place to take Fido, especially because they offer seasonal dining outside on their dog-friendly patio! But they are also Draper’s only brewery, so if you know your beer, you know to hit up The Garage Grill. They also own a rotating collection of classic sports and race cars, which you’ll love to explore after feasting on their diverse menu. The Garage Grill is locally owned, so be sure to support your local businesses by visiting for your next meal!
